Shenzhen Ceramic Knife and Ceramic Peeler Care Information

Even though the ceramic knife is durable, please remember that the ceramic blade does not have the flexibility of metal and extra special care must be taken. Ceramic knives are for slicing purposes ONLY and should not be used for any other purpose. To care for your ceramic knife , ceramic knife set, and ceramic peeler please do the following:

When slicing, DO NOT force the cut. If too much force is applied, the ceramic blade may snap as it will not bend or 'give'.
Ceramic knives are very easy to clean since food does not stick to the surface. Wash with mild soap and water or wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Do not put your ceramic knife in the dishwasher, as the motion may damage the ceramic blade or your dishes.
Avoid dropping the ceramic knife on hard surfaces as the ceramic blade may chip. Excessive chips on the ceramic blade's edge will dull the ceramic knife.
Always use a wood or plastic cutting board, do not use on your china or ceramic plates.
Do not use the ceramic knife for any kind of twisting or prying.
Never use your ceramic knife to pry or cut into bones as this may cause the ceramic blade to chip or the tip to snap off.
Do not use on frozen foods or hard foods.
Do not strike a hard surface with the ceramic blade (either sideways to crush garlic or blade-down to chop bones). If excessive chipping occurs, the ceramic knife will feel dull when cutting.
Shenzhen Ceramic Knives can be stored in a knife block or original knife case (included). Chipping may occur upon contact with other utensils which will make the ceramic knife feel dull when cutting.
The ceramic peeler blade should be treated similar to the ceramic knife blade to avoid chipping the peeler's ceramic blade.
Using the ceramic knife or ceramic peeler for anything other than their intended uses will void the warranty.
